EASTERN EUROPE CONNECTED is the international event that connects professionals from all branches of containerized freight transport: rail transport, intermodal operators, terminal operators, shipping lines, port operators, freight forwarders with the shippers: manufacturers, importers, exporters.
In 2020 and 2021, global supply chains have come under immense pressure.
Lack of transport capacity, raw materials shortages in certain sectors or the exacerbated increase in their price, the blockage of the Suez Canal, the extreme weather phenomenon in Europe that led to railway blockages in Germany or Belgium or problems at regional level, have been testing the resilience and flexibility of supply chains, as well as the ability of companies to identify solutions that meet their immediate needs.
In the two discussion panels, together with experts in the field, EASTERN EUROPE CONNECTED approaches current issues of the containerized freight transport sector and the lessons learnt, proposes real solutions and analyzes possible scenarios in order to better plan for the future.
